The Wyckoff Area Garden Club encourages interest in home gardening, civic beauty and the conservation of natural resources. Guests are always welcome and membership is open to all. Wyckoff residency is not a requirement.
Generally, our meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month and usually feature a guest speaker. We meet at McFaul Environmental Center. Crescent Avenue in Wyckoff. Our meeting times are 7:30 p.m. in April, May, September, October and November, 10:00 a.m. in January, February and March.
This club was originated in 1947. We currently have 63 members and support approximately 10 community projects in various ways. Members of our club maintain the planters in front of the Wyckoff Library, the plants in front of the Waldwick Public Safety Building, the Zabriskie House Gardens in Wyckoff and participate in the annual holiday decorating of the Hermitage in Ho-Ho-Kus.
