THE MASTER GARDENERS OF BERGEN COUNTY Present “The Lore & Use of Unusual Herbs” with Cyrus Hyde, Well Sweep Farm Well Sweep Herb Farm offers one of the largest selections of herbs & perennials in the country, with a wide selection from the familiar and more unusual to the rare and exotic. This year, they introduced 112 intriguing new plants to their collection which now tops 1,867 varieties. Cyrus Hyde had a background in farming and a passion for gardening. That passion grew into a national attraction ~ Well Sweep Herb Farm. A collector of herbs and rare poultry, you’ll usually find him in his garden, where he is always happy to chat and answer questions. A well-known lecturer and plant breeder, he received the Herb Society of America’s Nancy Putnam Howard Award for excellence in horticulture in 1991, and in 2001 the International Herb Association presented him with a professional award for his outstanding contributions to the herb industry. Whether you’re a collector, designer, dabbler, or windowsill gardener, come and learn about unusual herbs and Well Sweep Herb Farm.
