Still in shock that we got so much accomplished today at McFaul. So much so that after cleaning up, I just drove back to make sure it was as gorgeous as I thought. It's SUPER! Special thanks to the committee for all their prework that enabled us to get right down to work; the plant donors who supplied so much material that the beds look established already; and the munchie and beverage providers who baked and brought stuff even if they couldn't stay. 23 people came (21 members plus and 2 MGs -- Joe Cooper and Martha Troxell) and yes, while we're all tired and probably doing take-out for dinner tonight, I think everyone is feeling pretty good about their contribution to what got done and deservedly so. Nothing left to say except you are amazing and you make this a great club. Thank you all. Fondly, Barb The really great thing was that Janet had her dates mixed up and fortunately could be there today with her great direction and shovel expertise. Really everyone made a great contribution and we all deserve credit for a job really well done....Bea Koodos to Barbara and Bea for getting this together. They both did a fabulous job as coordinators, leaders and directors. Barbara's attention to detail helped pull it all off and Bea's just being there to encourage us all was just so great. It looks fabulous. Janet Good job you all who worked so hard. Some of us who couldnt attend have to drive over and take a look and be proud. Thanks Salma I can't wait to see the garden areas!
